Turn that Barn into a Guest House!

How about a custom fireplace surround with charred and brushed oak and a wax finish? This is a freshly built surround, but the bookcases either side used to be original track-house-white-painted, run of the mill issue.

I see that fixture is still missing in this photo, but this kitchenette with wood wall feature packs a big punch for a little space. Part of an addition that includes a guest bedroom and bathroom, new entry for the residence and a rooftop patio with glass railings.
